Want to Volunteer at Blackridge?
If you are a new volunteer at Blackridge Elementary, please read through and follow the steps below.
1. Apply Online
- Under Vacancies on the left side of the screen, click on the "locations" tab.
- Click on Blackridge Elementary.
- Click the red Apply button in the top left corner.
- When the new window opens, click START on the right hand side.
- Follow the prompts to create an account.
- Fill out the application completely and submit.
2. Blackridge will review your application to determine if you need Supervised Access or Unsupervised Access.
- Supervised access means you can be alone with students.
- Examples might be working with students in the school hallway, going on field trips, etc.
- Unsupervised means you will not be allowed to be alone with students.
- Examples might include working on projects for teachers, in classroom activities where the teacher is present, etc.
3. Jordan District HR will process your application.
4. If fingerprinting is required, you will be contacted by the district to set up an appointment.
5. You will be contacted by the district when you are approved to volunteer.
