EXCUSED CODES
(I)  Check-in after 9:30 am Excused Check-in
(O)  Student checks out anytime during the school day Excused Check out
(E)  Physician’s note, parent note or phone call received Excused Absence for the absence

UNEXCUSED
(T)  Check-in between 9:00-9:30 am Unexcused Tardy
(A)  All day absence with no contact with parent Unexcused Full Day Absence

Because JSD Elementary School days are
split into two periods, students will be marked
absent a half day when they check-in or out
after 12:00 pm Monday - Thursday
and after 11:30 am on Fridays.
