Inclement weather and air quality policies as voted on by the Blackridge Elementary School Community Council:

*We use the temperature of the "Real Feel", which includes wind chill.
**We will be posting a RED flag on the field fence by the drop-off/pick-up area and over by the Kindergarten playground on "INSIDE" mornings.
Daily temperature will be monitored by the office staff using the Herriman zip code 84096 at WEATHERBUG.COM.
Air quality index will also be monitored using the AIRNOW.GOV (see index below).
Please have your child dress appropriately for the weather. The day may start as an "INSIDE" day, but could change to an "OUTSIDE" day by recess or lunch.
